Challenge As the AT&T WNBA All-Star weekend title sponsor, my client AT&T set a goal to compel fans all weekend long.
Solution Build an exclusive club-like activation for WNBA fans to connect with WNBA All-Stars
Because Connecting Changes Everything for AT&T’s brand, we set out to connect WNBA fans to the WNBA All-Stars themselves, A’ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu. I creatively led my team to build an exclusive AT&T All-Star Access expereince for fans to enjoy all weekend long at AT&T WNBA All-Star 2025. Our footprint focal point was our physical-meets-digital basketball game where fans played on an LED court and were coached by our All-Star talent. Our activation featured sneaker charms of A’ja & Sabrina’s signatures, wellness givesways like robotic nails with nail art from the basketball queens, as well as exclusive merch. We were inspired by wellness clubs to create a fresh space for fans to enjoy. We extended the All-Star Access to the streets, giving free rides to the All-Star games. This ability to connect fans with WNBA All-Stars using technology and exculsive access drove home the 360 AT&T WNBA national marketing campaign.
